Life is too short and I'm a true believer that even the little moments matter, so I aim to capture it all as a travel wedding & elopement photographer based out of my beachy little hometown in South Florida. (I'm ALWAYS certainly down to travel, consider my bags already packed!). I'm a wife, fur momma to my crazy golden girl - Nala, & full-time nurse. I've always loved being creative in any way that I can & thanks to an amazing, supportive husband, I can add photographer to the list!

my photography journey
A quote from one of my favorite books is, "What is a person, if not the marks they leave behind?" and I aim to take it with me into my photography & everyday. Life is full of so many wonderful moments & I want to be part of helping you to leave your mark behind too!
For the longest time I can remember, I've always been drawn to being creative (who else can relate!?) I still have some rough flash pictures from my childhood of my friends & I being absolute hooligans - pretty much all the time. When I found out my high-school offered photography as an extra, I KNEW I had to get in! The day I got the notice I got picked for the class I went and bought my very first "big girl camera - a canon rebel t3i (talk about throwback!!!)
I took photography all through high-school, making my friends model for me at pretty much every occasion (BIG shoutout to maddy fletch) and even submitted an AP portfolio. When I applied to college I was so PSYCHED, the school I was going to offered photography as a minor - talk about a score! BUT, lo and behold by the time I actually attended - the school no longer offered it as a minor - WOMP WOMP! & lamely I didn't pick up my camera for another SEVEN years!!!
I had an idea I'd been dying to have photographed of my husband & I for awhile and it was the first time we ever got any professional photos done aside from our wedding & engagement session (shoutout to Kendi Austinson) & we had SOOO much fun!! It was then I decided I wanted to be apart of capturing others having that much fun.
SO all that to say, I've always been drawn to photography because there is something so absolutely, freaking amazing about capturing a moment and having it to cherish forever (shoutout to toph for always doing photo sessions with me).
The biggest thing I can emphasize for your session is I want you to be uniquely yourself! I love movement & genuineness & in photography it works to bring out who you are as a person & as a couple both individually and together! Those are the photos you cherish for a lifetime.
Capturing the sunlight - whether in be sunrise or sunset - & capturing the different ways it can play in photos with the awesome humans I vibe with during sessions is my literal JAM. Clearly I have a thing for sun-flares if it wasn't painfully obvious!! However, I enjoy a good mix of the hazy, golden warmth and the sharp, stunning angles that evoke every level of emotion. I have a love for literally every style of photography - but my main approach is documentary & storytelling - they work the best to evoke those emotions we play with during sessions, but I also enjoy the occasional editorial style photographs. The biggest thing I am for during sessions, it that we have a literal BLAST! (give me your playlist because we're gonna be jamming out & becoming best friends).
I strive to mix the old with the new, I'm a sucker for most everything retro & vintage & filmy, mixed with golden hues & unique ideas. So, if you ever have an idea for something crazy, I'm your girl! (Literally, I swear I down for just ~about~ everything. (P.S. ask me about adding super 8 your session or wedding)

fun fact, topher was actually my boss when we started dating - BUT only for a few months. we thought we were being sneaky, but come to find out our boss knew the whole time... whoops! not to mention all our co-workers would ONLY ask me & not him if we were together - talk about awkward.
he takes every wild idea I throw at him & lets me run with it (he kinda has to because he knows I'm stubborn & won't take no for an answer) - hey, let's be honest, I never hid who I was, so he knew what he was getting himself into!
low & behold I told the man that I wanted to get married October 10th of 2020 & needed at least a year to plan the wedding... even with the complication that was covid, guess who got married October 10, 2020.
we got married in Tallahassee, FL at a GORGEOUS venue & it was literally perfect (don't mind me panicking a few days before because a hurricane was heading straight for us).
we moved to south florida in 2021 & bought our first house in 2022 - a bit of a fixer upper that we made all our own! our dream is to own our own land one day to build a house & so I can buy fluffy cows but, but, in the meantime, we're satisfied in the little house that we've made our home. Just the two of us & our crazy golden girl - Nala (yes, we did name her after Lion King).
We're embarking on FIVE years of marriage & I'm still so excited to see where life takes us
